I'm an ex-lawyer turned SEO and AI visibility strategist helping professional services firms understand what’s limiting their visibility, fix the right problems and attract more qualified leads.

SEO consultant for professional service firms

Your firm should be easier to

find in Google

find in AI tools like ChatGPT

understand

trust

choose

Getting found is getting a little more complicated

Once upon a time, having a visible website meant showing up when someone Googled the thing you do.

Google still matters. A lot.

But your future clients are also asking ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools for answers, recommendations and help narrowing down their options.

And whichever route they take, getting found is only the beginning.

Your firm also needs to be easy to:

  • understand
  • trust
  • compare
  • and ultimately choose

That's where things can get a tad messy.

If the right enquiries aren't coming through, the problem could be your SEO. Your website content. Your technical foundations. The way search engines and AI tools understand your business.

Or several of those things quietly ganging up on you all at once.

Which is why I'm not particularly interested in prescribing "more SEO" before we know what's getting in the way.

So, what kind of help do you need?

If you already know, excellent.

If you don't, that's completely normal. A visibility problem doesn't arrive wearing a helpful little name badge that says "HELLO! I'm your SEO".

Start here if you're unsure

My SEO and AI Visibility Strategy Intensive helps us work out what's limiting your visibility, where the strongest opportunities are and what deserves your attention first.

Hi, I'm Rachel

An ex-lawyer with a habit of asking annoying-but-useful questions

I'm an SEO and AI visibility strategist helping professional service firms become easier to find, understand and choose.

Before Crazy Digital Creative, I spent around eight years being a litigation lawyer, which turned out to be surprisingly good training for what I do now.

Law taught me how to research properly, ask better questions, look beyond the first obvious answer and translate complicated subject matter into language non-lawyering humans can understand.

These days, I apply those same skills to websites, SEO and the increasingly interesting world of AI search.

And because I’ve worked inside professional service environments, I understand that visibility isn’t simply about getting more website traffic.

Your expertise matters. Your reputation matters. Compliance sometimes matters. And attracting 10,000 random website visitors is considerably less useful than helping the right humans find you and trust what they see when they get there.

That’s why I look at the bigger picture rather than treating SEO, content, positioning and your website as completely separate problems.

Don't simply take my word for it ...

Working with Rachel was a breeze from the very beginning. I understood the process and what to expect before she delivered not only what I requested, but more. She picked up on things I hadn't considered and made proactive suggestions to make my website pop, as well as making it easy to read and user-friendly.

I had no idea how important Rachel's changes were. I trust her advice implicitly. She will now be the only copywriter I recommend, even to all of my clients.

Rachel is exceptional and has truly taken the stress out of blogging. Quality of work is second to none and extremely customer focused. I am very grateful for Rachel and her ongoing support.

Rachel's span of knowledge is incredible. She delivered CRM training for our team (without making me feel silly for asking the obvious!), graciously sharing information and taking the time to explain things thoroughly. She's willing to go the extra mile and, most importantly, is a deliciously lovely person.

Questions you might be asking

What does an SEO consultant do?

It depends on the consultant.

My version of SEO consulting goes beyond checking rankings, finding keywords and handing you a spreadsheet full of things to fix.

I look at the bigger picture: how your website, content, positioning, technical foundations and search visibility are working together, including how well AI tools can understand your business and expertise.

Then I help you work out what's getting in the way, what matters and what deserves your time and investment next.

What is AI visibility, and do I really need to worry about it?

AI visibility is essentially how well tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and other tools understand your business, services and expertise ... and whether they'll cite you when someone asks a relevant question.

That doesn't mean SEO is dead or that you need to panic-rewrite your entire website for the robots.

Google still matters.

AI tools simply give your future clients another way to discover, research and comprae businesses like yours.

Do I need to start with strategy?

Not always. If you already have strong, recent strategic foundations and know exactly what needs doing, we may be able to move straight into website work, ongoing SEO or another service.

But if you know something isn't working and you're not sure whether the culprit is your SEO, content, website, positioning or a messy combination of the lot, strategy is usually the smartest place to start.

Can you work with our existing marketing team, agency or web developer?

Abso-bloody-lutely. You don't need to sack everyone else before I'm allowed through the door.

I can work alongside your internal marketing team, SEO provider, agency, designer or developer where that makes sense.

Sometimes I'll own a specific piece of work. Other times, I'm there to provide strategic direction, fill a gap or help everyone get clearer on what needs to happen next.

Can you guarantee first-page Google rankings?

No. And I'd be suspicious of anyone who does.

Google changes. Competitors move. Search behaviour evolves. And no SEO consultant has a secret button that controls the algorithm.

What I can do is identify the issues and opportunities most likely to improve your visibility, recommend an ethical way forward and explain what I'm seeing in language you don't need an SEO dictionary to decipher.
