After already launching our recent workshop sales page, I engaged Rachel to review the page to ensure maximum results. Not only did Rachel respond very quickly to our request, she made the sales page work wonders! I had no idea how important her changes were. I trust Rachel’s advice implicitly. She will now be the only copywriter I recommend, even to all of my clients.
Rachel is an absolute gem. We have used her for blog posts previously but have recently engaged her to redesign our website and revamp the copy. Rachel made the whole process seem easy, communicated the whole way through, was quick to answer any queries and assist. I’d have no hesitation in recommending her and will continue to use her services for our SEO.
Not only is she kind, friendly and super professional, but she truly goes above and beyond for her clients. She fixed the responsiveness issues my WordPress website was having and tidied up a whole host of other things I hadn’t even noticed. Her communication skills are EXCELLENT, and I felt confident and comfortable the entire time with her at the helm. She delivered the project well ahead of time, and took all the stress out of the process. I will definitely be working with Rachel again! I highly recommend her for your website (and copywriting) needs.
Who I am
While studying at university, I worked part-time for the editorial department of Reuters for over three years. This is what got me interested in writing. And before I became a lawyer, I completed a short contract role with The Christchurch Press.
My Tone of Voice training came by practicing family law, where I wrote a lot of affidavit evidence for clients. But as the internet gained popularity, the law firms I worked for wanted me to help with marketing. This led me to write or contribute to law-related newspaper articles and blog posts. And for a little while, I was a contributing author of a couple of legal texts for LexisNexis.
I’m an ex-lawyer
I’ve played trumpet in an orchestra for Nelson Mandela
I’m a crazy cat lady
How it all started…
I studied towards a Bachelor of Music (Performance) before switching to a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Criminology)
Admitted as a barrister & solicitor
I worked as a solicitor and was also self-employed a couple of times as a barrister
I relocated from New Zealand to Sydney, Australia where I continued to practice law
While I gave up legal practice, I used my legal experience and knowledge in a variety of other roles
Crazy Cat VA was born
While I love domestic and international travel, I grew tired of commuting to and from work. And the extra time I’ve saved by not commuting allows me to suport more business owners like you
