Managed SEO that
keeps visibility moving
builds on what's working
spots what matters next
adapts as search changes
Monthly SEO support that keeps an eye on your visibility, improves what's already working and tackles the right priorities next
SEO doesn't stay done.
You can have a solid website, strong copy and decent search visibility today.
That doesn’t mean everything stays neatly where you left it.
Managed SEO is about keeping an eye on what changes over time, then making smart, strategic improvements as they’re needed.
Competitors publish new content. Search behaviour changes. Existing pages date. Your services evolve. New questions start popping up. And AI tools have added another layer to how potential clients discover and research businesses like yours.
Sometimes a web page that used to perform well starts slipping.
Sometimes there’s an opportunity sitting in your search data that nobody’s noticed yet.
And sometimes the content itself is still perfectly useful, but it needs updating, strengthening or connecting more clearly to the rest of your site.
None of that means you need to panic and start “doing more SEO”.
It means someone needs to keep an eye on what’s happening, work out what matters and make sensible improvements before small gaps turn into bigger ones.
Good visibility isn’t something you set up once and put in the cupboard with the spare printer ink.
Managed SEO without the monthly busywork
I don’t believe in inventing SEO tasks every month simply so your retainer looks busy.
Instead, we look at what’s happening across your website, content, SEO and AI visibility and decide what will make the most useful difference next.
This could mean improving an existing page, creating strategic new content, strengthening internal links, responding to a search opportunity or making a targeted website improvement.
Some months we’ll create something new. Some months we’ll make what you already have work harder. And sometimes I’ll tell you to leave something perfectly well alone.
That’s the point.
You’re paying for strategic attention and useful implementation. Not an impressive-looking checklist.
What your managed SEO can include
Depending on what your business needs most, your ongoing SEO support can include a mix of strategy, content and website improvements.
SEO monitoring and analysis
Tracking your SEO and AI visibility, search performance and emerging opportunities so we know what deserves attention
Content optimisation
Improving existing website content so it's clearer, stronger and better aligned with search
SEO content services
Planning and creating strategic new content where there's a genuine search or authority opportunity
Internal linking and structure
Strengthening how your web pages connect so humans and search engines can make better sense of your site
SEO & website improvements
Making targeted changes that support visibility, usability and performance
Ongoing SEO direction
Working out what deserves attention next, rather than repeating the same monthly SEO checklist
This is probably a good fit if ...
My managed SEO retainers are primarily for existing and past clients whose website, positioning and SEO foundations are already in a solid place.
- We've already worked together on your strategy, website, SEO or content, so I know your business and where the foundations sit
- Your website is fundamentally sound, but you want ongoing SEO management to keep building on what we've already done
- You want someone proactively looking for opportunities rather than waiting for you to hand over a monthly task list
- You've got useful existing content that could be strengthened, updated or better connected
- You want to keep creating strategic new content where there's a genuine search or authority opportunity
- SEO and AI visibility matter to your business, but you don't need or want a full in-house SEO human
- You'd rather make steady, considered improvements over time rather than lurch between randome bursts of SEO activity
Your investment: from $1,500 per month
Minimum three-month commitment
Three months gives us enough runway to make meaningful improvements and learn from results rather than judging SEO after approximately 17 minutes.
After that, we’ll review where things stand and whether ongoing support still makes sense.
This is an ongoing strategy and implementation retainer focused on improving your visibility over time.
The kind of feedback I like getting

I trust Rachel's advice implicitly.

Rachel is amazing to deal with and understands our business and the compliance that comes with it.

Working with Rachel was a breeze from the very beginning. I understood the process and what to expect before she delivered not only what I requested, but more.
Questions you might be asking
Is this retainer only for existing clients?
Primarily, yes.
My managed SEO retainers are designed for existing and past clients whose website, positioning and SEO foundations I already know are in good shape.
If we haven’t worked together before, I’ll occasionally consider a new retainer where the fit is particularly strong and your foundations are already solid.
If your website needs more substantial strategic, copy or development work first, we'll usually start with Strategy or Websites instead.
What's included in managed SEO each month?
It depends on what deserves attention.
Your monthly SEO support isn’t built around the same fixed deliverables every month.
Depending on your priorities, we may work on existing content optimisation, strategic new content, SEO and AI visibility, internal linking, website improvements or other opportunities that support your wider visibility.
The goal is to focus on the work that makes sense now rather than manufacture tasks to fill a package.
Is this the same as website maintenance?
Nope.
Website maintenance usually focuses on keeping the technical side of a website running, such as updates, backups and troubleshooting.
Managed SEO is focused on your ongoing visibility.
That means looking at how your website and content are performing, identifying opportunities and making strategic improvements across SEO, AI visibility and content over time.
Do you write the content too?
Yep.
Strategic content can form part of your retainer where it supports the wider SEO and visibility plan.
That might include improving existing website content or creating new search-informed content, including ongoing blog writing.
The point isn’t to publish a predetermined number of articles every month.
It’s to create or improve content where there’s good reason to do it.
How does AI visibility fit into the retainer?
SEO and AI visibility increasingly overlap.
As part of your ongoing SEO management, I’ll also consider how clearly AI tools can understand your business, services and expertise.
That may involve strengthening content, improving context across your website or identifying gaps that make it harder for search engines and AI tools to connect your business with the subjects you want to be known for.
There’s no magic “make ChatGPT recommend me” switch.
But we can make your expertise considerably easier to understand.
Can you work with our existing marketing team or marketing agency?
Abso-bloody-lutely.
I can work alongside your internal team, web developer, marketing consultant or agency where that makes sense.
Sometimes I’ll handle the strategy and implementation directly. Other times, my role may be identifying priorities and working with the humans already in place to get them actioned.
We’ll agree on responsibilities upfront so nobody ends up in an awkward game of “I thought you were doing that”.
Do you guarantee SEO rankings?
No. And I’d be wary of anyone offering you guaranteed page 1 rankings.
Google changes. Competitors move. Search behaviour evolves (hello, AI search!) And no SEO consultant controls the algorithm.
What I can do is provide professional SEO services based on evidence, experience and your business priorities, then keep reviewing and improving the work over time.
How long do I need to commit for?
Managed SEO retainers have a three-month minimum commitment.
That gives us enough time to review what’s happening, make meaningful improvements and learn from the results rather than judging everything after 17 minutes.
After the initial three months, we’ll review where things stand and decide whether continuing monthly support still makes sense.
How much does the retainer cost?
Managed SEO retainers start from $1,500 per month.
The exact investment depends on the level of ongoing SEO, content and website support for your business needs.
Before we start, I’ll make the scope and monthly investment clear so you know what you’re committing to and why.
No mysterious extras quietly appearing on an invoice later.
