Need corporate training to
help your team
get found in Google and AI search?
write and publish in plain English?
sharpen your brand messaging?
You're in the right place.
Your people know their stuff. The tricky bit is turning it into something other humans can use.
Your team can be brilliant at what they do and still find SEO baffling, write content that disappears under a layer of industry jargon, or struggle to explain what makes your business different without sounding like your competitor down the road.
That’s where corporate training can earn its keep.
I run practical, tailored workshops for professional service firms and expert-led teams across SEO and AI visibility, business writing and plain English, and brand voice, positioning and messaging.
Sometimes the goal is helping fee earners or subject-matter experts write content people can find and understand. Sometimes it’s giving in-house marketers more confidence around search. And sometimes it’s getting a whole team on the same page about how your business should sound and what it needs to say.
Whatever we’re working on, the point isn’t to turn everyone into a digital marketing specialist.
It’s to help your people understand the useful stuff, apply it to their own work and leave knowing what to do differently.
What can I train your team in?
Different teams need different things. Here are the main areas I can help with.
SEO and AI Visibility Training
Help your team understand how Google and AI tools find, understand and surface your content … and what they can do to improve the chances of your expertise being found.
Plain English business writing training
Being an expert in something doesn’t automatically make it easy to write about.
I help professional service teams turn complicated, technical or jargon-heavy information into clear, useful writing without dumbing down the expertise behind it.
Brand voice, positioning and messaging
If five people in your business describe what you do five completely different ways, we probably have something to work on.
These workshops help teams get clearer on what the business needs to say, how it should sound like and how to apply that consistently across the content they’re creating.
Looking for WordPress training instead?
I also offer tailored WordPress training for people who want to feel more confident managing their own website. As a fan of the Divi premium theme, such training can include using Divi.
The useful bit is making the training fit the humans in the room
A room full of marketers doesn’t need the same session as a group of lawyers, advisors or subject-matter experts.
And a leadership team that wants to understand where AI search fits into the bigger picture probably doesn’t need three hours on keyword research.
Before I put your workshop together, I’ll get clear on who I’m training, what they already know, where they’re getting stuck and what you want them to be able to do differently afterwards.
From there, I shape the session around your people.
That might mean using examples from your own website or content, working through situations they deal with day-to-day, spending more time on one topic and quietly leaving out the bits that won’t be useful.
That’s one of the advantages of in-house corporate training: your team doesn’t have to squeeze itself into somebody else’s course outline.
The goal here isn’t for me to get through all my slides.
It’s for your people to get back to work knowing what to do with what they’ve just learned.

Hi, I'm Rachel
And I've spent a lot of time making complicated things make sense
I’m an ex-lawyer turned SEO and AI visibility strategist, which means my career has involved an unreasonable amount of time translating complicated information into something humans can understand.
These days, I work with professional service firms at the intersection of visibility, content and communication.
That might mean:
- helping a marketing team understand what’s changed in search
- showing subject-matter experts how to write about what they know without drowning their audience in jargon
- helping a business get much clearer about how it sounds, what it stands for and what it really needs to say
Having worked in professional services myself, I understand the realities that come with the territory.
Your people are busy. The subject matter can be complex. Compliance sometimes has opinions. And nobody needs another training session that sounds great in theory but falls apart the second everyone gets back to their desk.
So I tend to teach the same way I work with clients: explain the complicated bits in plain English, focus on what’s genuinely useful and give people enough understanding to make better decisions for themselves.
What's it like having me train your team?

Rachel’s span of knowledge is incredible. She delivered CRM training for our team (without making me feel silly for asking the obvious!), graciously sharing information and taking the time to explaining things thoroughly. She’s willing to go the extra mile and, most importantly, is a deliciously lovely person.
Some awesome brands I've helped train

So, how does the training work?
Once I know what you'd like your team to get better at, we can work out what the training needs to look like.
01. Tell me what you need
We’ll start with a chat about who’s coming, what they already know, where they’re getting stuck and what you’d like them to be able to do differently afterwards.
02. I build the session around your team
I’ll take what we’ve discussed and shape the workshop around
the topic, people and outcomes we’ve agreed on.
Where it makes sense, I’ll also bring your own website, content, messaging or real world examples into the training so we’re not talking about everything in the abstract.
03. We get everyone together
Then we train.
Sessions can be delivered online or in person and I’ll leave plenty of room for questions, discussion and those “hang on, but what about our situation?”
Because sometimes the question someone asks halfway through is exactly the thing the rest of the room was wondering too.
This is probably a good fit if ...
- Your team has plenty of expertise, but needs help communicating it more clearly
- You want your people to understand the thinking behind SEO, AI visibility, business writing or brand voice rather than simply follow a checklist
- You've got marketers, subject-matter experts or leaders who need practical skills they can use in their day-to-day work
- You want training shaped around your organisation, not delivered exactly the same way to every business that books it
- You want your team to leave knowing what to do differently once they're back at their desks
Questions you might be asking
Can you tailor the training to our business?
Yes. In fact, that’s kinda the point.
We’ll start by working out who’s attending, what they already know, what they need help with and what you want them to be able to do differently afterwards.
I’ll then shape the content, examples and level of detail around your team rather than asking everyone to sit through the exact same workshop I delivered somewhere else last Tuesday.
Where it’s useful, we can also work with examples from your own website, content or messaging.
Who do you usually train?
I mainly work with professional service firms and expert-led businesses.
Depending on the topic, that might mean internal marketing teams, lawyers and other fee earners, subject-matter experts, leadership teams or a mixture of people who all come at the subject from slightly different angles.
Do you offer online and in-person corporate training?
Yes. Training can be delivered online or in person, depending on where your team is based and what makes the most sense for the session.
For in-person training that involves travel, I’ll factor any travel time and associated costs into your proposal so you know what you’re up for before we book anything.
How long does the training take?
It depends on what we’re trying to achieve.
A focused topic might only need 90 minutes. If there’s more ground to cover, a half-day or full-day session may make more sense.
I’ll recommend a format based on the topic, the people attending and the outcome you’re after rather than finding creative ways to turn 90 minutes of useful material into an eight-hour workshop.
What if people in our team have different levels of experience?
That’s pretty normal.
You might have someone who works with the topic every day sitting next to someone who’s only vaguely familiar with it.
I’ll take that into account when I structure the workshop, so we can cover the foundations people need without making the more experienced humans feel like they’ve accidentally enrolled in kindergarten.
Can you cover more than one training topic?
Potentially.
SEO, AI visibility, business writing, brand voice, positioning and messaging aren’t exactly strangers to one another. So there may be situations where it makes sense to bring a few of them together.
Tell me what’s happening in your team and what you want the training to achieve. I’ll let you know whether combining topics makes sense or whether we’d get a better result by keeping the session more focused.
Want your team to leave knowing what to do differently?
Tell me who’s in the room, what you’d like them to get better at and what you want them to be able to do afterwards.
I’ll help you work out the most useful training format from there.
