SEO and AI visibility training
SEO training for teams,
minus the jargon
Your team doesn't need another presentation full of acronyms
They need to understand enough to make better decisions.
Maybe your marketing team knows the basics but wants more confidence around search strategy and AI visibility.
Maybe your fee earners or subject-matter experts have years of knowledge in their hands, but aren’t sure how to turn it into content people can find.
Or perhaps everyone’s hearing conflicting advice about keywords, Google, ChatGPT, AI search and whatever acronym has appeared on LinkedIn this week.
The goal of my SEO training for teams isn’t to turn everyone in the room into an SEO specialist.
It’s to give your humans a practical understanding of how search works, where AI visibility fits in and what they can do differently in their own roles.
This means they leave the room knowing what matters, what doesn’t and how to put the useful stuff in practice.
What your team can learn
Every SEO training workshops is tailored to the people in the room, but the session can cover areas like:
SEO foundations that make sense
How search engines understand and rank content, what search intent means, how keywords fit into the picture and which on-page SEO elements are worth paying attention to.
No need to memorise 37 acronyms before morning tea.
Creating content people can find
How to turn your team’s expertise into useful, search-informed content that answers real questions and supports the services or topics your business wants to be known for.
We can also look at content structure, internal link and how different pieces work together to build topical authority over time.
AI search and visibility
How AI-powered search is changing the way people discover businesses and information, where it overlaps with traditional SEO and what helps AI tools better understand your organisation’s expertise.
The goal of AI search training isn’t to chase every new AI trend.
It’s to help your team understand what matters and where it fits into the bigger visibility picture.
Putting it into practice
Theory’s useful. Applying it to your own website and content is better.
Depending on the workshop, we can work through real examples from your business so your team leaves with a clearer idea of what to do differently after the session.
That might mean improving an existing web page, planning stronger content, spotting search opportunities or reviewing how clearly your expertise is being communicated.
Built around your team, not a generic slide deck
No two teams need exactly the same SEO training.
A marketing team might want to go deeper into keyword research, content planning and topical authority.
Fee earners or subject-matter experts may need more confidence turning their expertise into useful, search-informed content.
Leadership teams might simply need a clearer understanding of what SEO and AI visibility mean, where the opportunities are and what their marketing team should be focusing on.
That’s why I tailor each SEO team training session around:
- who’s in the room
- what they already know
- the roles they play
- the questions they’re dealing with
- your website, content and visibility goals
- the outcomes you want the training to support
Where it’s useful, I’ll also bring in examples from your own website or content so the workshop feels relevant to the work your team is doing now.
Because there’s not much point spending three hours learning about SEO tactics your team will never use.
Here's how the training works
No off-the-shelf workshop followed by a quick logo swap.
The training starts with understanding who’s in the room, what they need to know and what you want them to be able to do differently afterwards.
01. Tell me what your team needs
We’ll start with a conversation about your team, their current SEO knowledge, the challenges they’re dealing with and the outcome you want from the training.
We’ll also talk about your website, content and any specific SEO or AI visibility questions you want the session to address.
02. I tailor the workshop
I’ll shape the SEO training around your team rather than squeezing your team into a predetermined presentation.
That means choosing the topics, examples and level of detail that make sense for the people attending, with your own website or content brought into the session where it’ll make the learning more useful.
03. We get together and make search less mysterious
Then we run the workshop.
Your corporate SEO training can be delivered online or in person, with plenty of room to ask questions and unpack how the concepts apply to your organisation.
The aim is for your team to leave with practical knowledge they can use, rather than 93 slides they never open again.
Online or in person
Online training is available wherever your team happens to be.
Prefer to get everyone in the same room? I can also deliver in-person SEO and AI visibility workshops.
In-person training is quoted separately to allow for travel time and, where required, travel and accommodation costs. I’ll make those costs clear before you book, so there are no surprise invoices arriving from somewhere over the rainbow.
Built for teams with expertise worth finding.
This training is a good fit for professional service firms and expert-led businesses that want their people to understand SEO and AI visibility well enough to use it in the real world.
That might include:
- internal marketing teams that want stronger SEO and content skills
- lawyers, advisers and other fee earners who contribute to website content
- subject-matter experts with valuable knowledge that deserves to be easier to find
- leadership teams that want a clearer understanding of how SEO and AI search fit into the wider marketing picture
- mixed teams that need a shared language around search, content and visibility
You don’t need everyone in the room to have the same level of knowledge.
That’s part of why the training is tailored.
And because I’m an ex-lawyer turned SEO and AI visibility strategist, I’m very comfortable working with professional service teams, complex subject matter and people who’d prefer the technical stuff translated into plain English.
I’m not there to turn your team into SEO specialists.
I’m there to help them understand enough to make smarter decisions, create stronger content and know what matters when it comes to getting found.
What's it like having me train your team?

Rachel’s span of knowledge is incredible. She delivered CRM training for our team (without making me feel silly for asking the obvious!), graciously sharing information and taking the time to explaining things thoroughly. She’s willing to go the extra mile and, most importantly, is a deliciously lovely person.

Questions you might be asking
Can you tailor the SEO training to our team?
Definitely. Every session is shaped around the people in the room, what they already know and what you want them to be able to do differently afterwards.
That might mean more focus on content and keyword research for a marketing team, more practical guidance for fee earners and subject-matter experts, or a broader SEO and AI visibility overview for leadership.
Where it makes sense, I’ll use examples from your own website and content so the training feels relevant to the work your team is doing.
Does our team need any previous SEO knowledge?
Nope.
I’ll tailor the level of the training to your team. If everyone’s starting from scratch, we’ll build the foundations first.
If they already understand the basics, we can spend more time on areas such as search intent, content strategy, topical authority and AI search visibility.
The goal isn’t to make anyone feel behind before we’ve even opened the first slide.
What if people in the room have different levels of SEO experience?
That’s pretty normal.
A team might include a marketer who works with SEO regularly, a partner who knows the term but not much else, and a subject-matter expert who simply wants to understand how to make their content easier to find.
I’ll structure the session so the fundamentals are clear without keeping more experienced participants stuck in SEO kindergarten all day.
How many people can attend?
Around 5-6 participants is my sweet spot for interactive team training.
It’s enough people to create useful discussion and different perspectives, while still giving everyone room to ask questions and apply the learning to their own role.
Got a larger group? Tell me what you have in mind and we can talk about the best format.
How long does the training take?
It depends on what your team needs to learn.
A short, focused SEO training workshop may be enough if you want to tackle one particular area.
For more detailed training, I can run a half-day or full-day session covering a broader mix of SEO, content and AI visibility.
I’ll recommend a format based on your team, their existing knowledge and the outcomes you want from the training rather than stretching a 90-minute topic into a full day for the sake of it.
Do you offer online and in-person training?
Yep. Training can be delivered online via Microsoft Teams or in person.
If we train online, I’m happy to provide a recording of the session so your team can revisit the material afterwards.
For in-person training, travel time and any required travel or accommodation costs are quoted separately.
I’ll make your investment clear upfront, so nobody gets an unexpected geography surcharge later.
Does the training cover AI search and AI visibility too?
It can. SEO and AI visibility increasingly overlap, so we can look at how AI tools understand, surface and recommend information alongside more traditional Google search.
Depending on your workshop, that might include what helps AI tools understand your organisation’s expertise, how content supports visibility and where traditional SEO still matters.
This isn’t an AI-trend-of-the-week workshop.
The aim is to help your team understand the useful stuff and where it fits into the bigger search picture.
Will we get anything to refer back to after the training?
Yes. I’ll provide a practical PDF resource covering relevant tools, resources and takeaways from the session.
If the training is delivered through Microsoft Teams, you’ll also receive the recording.
For half-day, full-day or higher-investment training, I can also include a 30-45 minute group Q&A follow-up a few weeks later.
This gives your team time to put what they’ve learned into practice, discover where the questions pop up and come back for another round of “Rachel, what does this thing mean?”
How much does SEO training for teams cost?
It depends on the scope.
A short online workshop for a small team and a tailored full-day in-person training session are very different engagements.
The investment depends on things like the training length, level of customisation, number of participants, delivery format and whether follow-up support is included.
Tell me what your team needs to learn and what you want them to get out of the session, and I’ll recommend the most sensible format with clear pricing before you book.
